Who we are?

Welcome to Integrated Socio-Economic and Environmental Development Organization (ISEDO)
a non-governmental organization that is established in response to increasing levels of poverty
and deprivation among urban and rural based households in Ethiopia. The pillar concern of
ISEDO is to work directly with the grassroots of disadvantaged households and communities
through promotion of environmental protection and conservation as well facilitation for
diversified income options for ultra poor households to broaden their resource base for income
generation activities. Child sponsorship educational program  which will promote education for
all by providing support to the orphans in the form of school fees, books, pens, pencils and
uniforms. The program seeks to support children from primary up to tertiary levels of which
60% of these are girls who are forced out of school by lack of support due to death of parents,
abuse and exploitation by other relatives, early pregnancies, marriages and or lack of support due
to lack of household income for the surviving single parents. Community’s safe water supply and
health education provision, rehabilitation of broken down borehole hand pumps and promoting
safe sanitation where households will be trained in hygiene. Improved seeds supply for small
scale farmers and train the small scale farmers in seed production technologies so as to ensure
food security of targeted households as and promotion of community based ecotourism are the
thematic areas ISODO would like to work with its partners.

ISEDO is a local non-governmental organization established to address increasing poverty among urban and rural households in Ethiopia with a national level mandate, and to enhance the well-being of marginalized communities. Registered by the Authority for Civil Society Organizations on March 10, 2022, with registration number 6117,

Mission: To alleviate all forms of poverty through community’s empowerment and enhancement of environmental protection and promoting of sustainable practices that have a lasting effect on people’s lives

Location :  Negele Arsi town , West Arsi Zone of Oromia Regional State  and we do have operational license to work  throughout  all regions of Ethiopia
